Judy DeGenova is a transactions Law Clerk with extensive experience and training in the area of corporate and commercial law. Judy assists with the completion of purchase and sale transactions, financing, corporate reorganizations, drafting corporate/commercial documents and setting up professional and other corporations.
Prior to joining Cappellacci DaRoza LLP, Judy worked in a prominent Toronto law firm in the corporate/commercial section, as a Law Clerk to Ernest J. Cappellacci. Judy received her Honours Business Communications Certificate from Ryerson University. She graduated from Humber College with honours in 1983 and has more than 25 years' experience as a Law Clerk.
Judy is a member of The Institute of Law Clerks of Ontario and a Commissioner of Oaths.
Stacy is a corporate and transactions Law Clerk working primarily with Gina DaRoza (with an expertise in dental purchase and sale transactions). Stacy has over 15 years’ experience in various corporate matters. She began working with the firm in 1996 and left for a short period. During her “sabbatical”, Stacy worked in the corporate departments of two Toronto law firms, and is now back doing what she likes best: transactional work, including purchase and sale transactions, corporate reorganizations and drafting various corporate and commercial documents.
She has also had extensive experience in setting up and maintaining various corporations including professional corporations, federal corporations, licensee corporations and non-share capital corporations. Stacy is a member of the Institute of Law Clerks of Ontario and a Commissioner of Oaths.
Christina S-Gigliotti is a corporate Law Clerk at Cappellacci DaRoza LLP. She completed her Law Clerk diploma at Humber College in 2012 and began working at Cappellacci DaRoza LLP shortly thereafter.
Christina focuses on a number of areas of corporate law (specializing in professional corporations). Among other things, she has experience maintaining corporate minute books, including incorporating and organizing corporations, preparing annual resolutions, dividends/management bonuses, change of registered office resolutions, share issuances/transfers, rollovers and filing forms.
Christina also has experience with amalgamations, reorganizations, continuances, dissolutions and purchase and sale transactions. In addition, she has experience working on transactions involving independent health facilities. Christina is also a member of the Institute of Law Clerks of Ontario.
Morgan joined Cappellacci DaRoza LLP in June 2013. Morgan received her Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Victoria with a double major in Political Science and Religious Studies and double minor in Pacific and Asian Studies and Sociology. As well, Morgan completed her Law Clerk diploma from George Brown College in 2017. Morgan is Ernie Cappellacci’s Executive Legal Assistant, and assists him in all areas of his practice.
Morgan is a key member of the Cappellacci DaRoza team and, in addition to her work with Ernie, Morgan assists with various corporate work, including incorporation and organizations, share transfers, change of registered office addresses, share issuances/transfers, change of accountants and dissolutions. Morgan also handles the Certificate of Authorization renewals for health professional corporations.
Judaa St. Bernard is a currently enrolled in the Law Clerk course at George Brown College. She began working at Cappellacci DaRoza LLP in 2014 in a contract position and was hired full time in May of 2015.
Judaa has been assisting with the registration and renewal of business styles, the preparation of annual resolutions and dividend minutes, incorporation and organization of Ontario corporations, as well as other corporate maintenance work, all under the guidance of a senior Law Clerk and our lawyers.
